Outpost lists homes, vehicles, heavy equipment, tools, event gear, electronics, furniture, outdoor kit, formalwear, and work spaces in a single searchable catalog. Owners set their own rates. Renters book what they need for exactly as long as they need it.

Most things people buy sit idle. A trailer used four weekends a year, a camera body shot twice a month, a tuxedo worn once. Outpost puts that idle capacity back to work and keeps renters from buying tools they'll use one afternoon.

Every submission goes into a moderation queue before it appears publicly. Listings that are incomplete, mispriced, or miscategorised are rejected. Housing listings comply with the Fair Housing Act and Equal Opportunity Act.
