What we check, what we expect from you, and what happens when something goes wrong.
Every listing is reviewed
New listings are held as pending until a moderator approves them. We reject listings that are miscategorised, missing key details, priced deceptively, or that use photos which don't match the item.
Account security
Accounts are protected by email and password or Google sign-in. Roles such as admin are granted server-side only — never from the browser — and moderation actions are restricted to those accounts.
Meeting safely
Meet in daylight in a public or business location where possible, bring someone with you for high-value items, and never hand over payment before inspecting. Work through the inspection checklist at pickup.
Reporting a problem
Report damage, no-shows, or suspicious listings to safety@outpost.example with photos and dates, or through the contact form. Listings under investigation are hidden from the catalog while we review.
Fair housing
Homes & Apartments listings must comply with the Fair Housing Act and Equal Opportunity Act. Discriminatory language is removed and repeat offenders lose listing access.
